Rumbles offer a variety of training opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism or just simply wanting something different to do.
If you need help, building your ability to grow as a positive and productive person; to assist your life skills for independent living, preparation for work or just to increase your confidence, Rumbles may be able to help you.
Rumbles offer a range of programmes that are all based around work. This work takes place within our community cafes that provide opportunities to gain a range of skills that assist you to develop your communication, team work, social interaction, confidence, time keeping, finical situations, personal well being and lots more. To underpin all these developments we offer a full range of soft optional learning programmes that are set to suit individual needs to assist them in their progression into either voluntary work or employment.
The settings for these programmes are totally socially inclusive and everyone is encouraged to be individuals that can cope with everyday living and expectations. You will be fully supported and there is always someone on hand to offer help and encouragement.
Rumbles training centres are a place where you can learn to positive and develop new relationships and friendships. We will encourage you to have your own voice and develop your skill level to move forward in a active way.
To access programmes we make small charge of £7.00 per hour.
Once you have gained the confidence to progress forward we can provide access to NVQ courses in Customer Services and Hospitality. These courses are delivered by professional trainers and assessors.
We encourage all our volunteer learners to consider the opportunities to gain NVQ’s. However, we are not target driven. The difference with Rumbles training is that we allow time for individuals to complete the courses in their own time. Don’t forget, you can start as a volunteer and then progress.
